NAS: Hidden crisis: Autistic people four times more likely to be lonely than general public (30 April 2018)

New research from the National Autistic Society suggests people with autism are amongst the most isolated and lonely people in the UK. The charity compared the results of their latest survey of almost 900 people with autism with data from the Government. Findings indicate that someone with autism is four times more likely to be lonely than someone without autism.
