People who identify as LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transexual) are said to make up between 5% and 10% of the general population. That means that a significant minority of the people we support with learning disabilities identify as LGBT.

Stella Smith’s son Andrew has needed considerable ongoing support since the age of four when he was diagnosed with an autism spectrum condition.
