Kent End Of Life Workshop

Following the national report into the Liverpool Care Pathway, a series of workshops are being planned across the Country to look at proposals to improve end of life care for all. Kent is hosting one of these events in November.

Kent has a thriving Palliative Care for People with Learning Disability Network which is run by two Kent Community Learning Disability Nurses. More details of this network can be found here.

Voice 4 Kent is an independent self advocacy organisation run by people with learning difficulties in Kent. They campaign supporting people to know their rights.

Voice 4 Kent lost an important member of their team this year. They decided to invite people to join them to share what they are doing, and to see what Voice 4 Kent should do in the future.

The sharing event is on the afternoon of 14th October in Ashford. Please click on the flyer for more details.

Kent & Medway Community of Practice are eager to support organisations such as Voice 4 Kent. Please let us know if we can share your organisations events.
