LATEST GRAB OUT NOW: Domestic violence and women with learning disabilities: by Michelle McCarthy from @TizardCentre

Domestic violence and women with learning disabilities

In this research project we wanted to hear directly from women with learning disabilities themselves about the domestic violence they had experienced. (We also explored the views, attitudes and responses of the Police and health and social care professionals and these will be reported elsewhere).

MHLD Research Event – Cancelled

Dear all,

I am sorry to say that the MHLD Research Event which was due to take place on the 18th January has now been cancelled.

Unfortunately due to the date of the event overlapping with a planned CQC visit it has been decided that it would be in the best interest of everyone to hold the event at a later date. We are keen for all staff to focus their attention on the CQC visit during this time. Whilst also hoping that by doing this more staff will have the opportunity to attend at a later date if they so wish.

We will update you when a new date has been decided upon and would still hugely appreciate it if you can come along.

Huge apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Kind Regards

Dr Mo Eyeoyibo
