What do autistic people think about alcohol?

Alcohol Concern and the Centre for Applied Autism Research (CAAR) at the University of Bath want to find out more about what autistic people think about alcohol. The aim is to help make sure that information and support about alcohol is meeting the needs of autistic people.

If you’re aged 16 or older and are autistic (whether or not you have a formal diagnosis) you can help us by telling us about your views and experiences. I doesn’t matter whether or not you drink alcohol, or have drunk it in the past – what you have to say will help us to help autistic people avoid alcohol problems in the future.

The questionnaire shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes to finish. There are 26 questions, which you can answer on a 5-point rating scale. There are also questions about you (e.g. your age and gender) and whether or not you drink alcohol.

You do not have to take part, and you can leave the survey at any time without having to give a reason. All information you give us will be kept anonymous and confidential, and will be securely stored.
