National Workforce Strategy – Consultation, webinar and tweet chat invite.

 Following the recent publication of “Facing the facts, shaping the future. A draft health and care workforce strategy for England to 2027” (link below) it is vital that AHPs engage in the discussions, the following opportunities have been crafted to give you a variety of ways to be heard #AHPsintoAction

Formal consultation

The consultation will run until 17:00 Friday 23 March 2018 so please have your say. It is vital that the voice of AHPs is heard through the formal routes to make sure that all of comments are taken into account – you can formally respond online or join the online workshop at  https://consultation.hee.nhs.uk.  Workforce is all our business, wherever we work whatever we do.

Webinar

We are also offering other ways to engage to support you to formally respond as above. We would like to invite you to a national interactive webinar where we will discuss the opportunities of this strategy for our wider AHP community. We will be discussing the broad themes, key messages, and any questions which may arise. We also encourage you to answer the consultation questions of this draft document (https://consultation.hee.nhs.uk). By adding your voice to the consultation you will have the opportunity to help shape this workforce strategy for the future .

When is the webinar? Monday 12th March 12.30-1.30pm. If you cannot make this date/time we will be recording this webinar and placing it on the HEE website.

Who is invited? Allied Health Professionals from across health, social care, housing and the voluntary sector.
